3rd Test India vs Sri Lanka Live Streaming

Watch 3rd Test India vs Sri Lanka Live Streaming online free match to be held in mumbai. Sri Lanka have never played here, nor have they ever won in India. They are the second-ranked team in the world. Sri Lanka are struggling, Muttiah Muralitharan is struggling, their first-choice pace bowlers are down with injuries. Take out Bangladesh, and 12 of Sri Lanka's last 14 Test wins have come at home. Sri Lanka need to win this one, and justify their No. 2 ranking.

Nuwan Kulasekara is fully fit and is likely to reinforce an attack that looked listless in Kanpur. He should take Ajantha Mendis' place in the final XI. There should be a debate between Chanaka Welegedara and Dilhara Fernando, but the left-arm variety could be given the nod.

India : M Vijay, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni (capt/wk), Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Sreesanth, Pragyan Ojha.

Sri Lanka: Tharanga Paranavitana, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara (capt/wk), Mahela Jayawardene, Thilan Samaraweera, Angelo Mathews, Prasanna Jayawardene (wk), Nuwan Kulasekara, Chanaka Welegedara, Muttiah Muralitharan, Rangana Herath.

South Africa vs England 4th Odi Live Streaming

Watch South Africa vs England 4th Odi Live Streaming Online for free. the Newlands version of South Africa was much closer to living up to their pre-series billing. The batting, led by AB de Villiers' awesome striking, fired as a unit and the bowling attack packed much more punch with the inclusion of Wayne Parnell and Morne Morkel. Parnell continued his impressive knack of bagging large hauls with a career-best 5 for 48 to follow the five-for he took against New Zealand at the Champions Trophy. If he stays fit Parnell is set to be a key figure throughout this tour.

Watching England in any format should come with a health warning, but their one-day performances are most likely to send supporters lurching from delight to despair. As Andrew Strauss said after the defeat at Newlands the one-day squad is a work in progress, so humbling reversals are to be expected. It follows the pattern of the Champions Trophy when memorable victories against Sri Lanka and South Africa were followed by heavy defeats against New Zealand and Australia.

Alviro Petersen has slotted well into the middle order and Hashim Amla is churning out the runs as Jacques Kallis' understudy so South Africa's batting is solid. The one concern for them is Dale Steyn who bowled six overs at Newlands before leaving the field with a hamstring strain. If he is ruled out Charl Langeveldt could be recalled, while Johan Botha may be considered for the struggling Roelof van der Merwe.

India vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test Live Streaming

Watch India vs Srilanka 2nd test live streaming for free, of 3 test match series as already 1st match ended in draw. Both teams had a few problems in the spin department: Sri Lanka went in with Rangana Herath, who was outstanding in the home series against Pakistan, but he couldn't do much damage here. Muttiah Muralitharan too wasn't at his best but Sri Lanka will still consider him as their first-choice spinner.

Team News:

India : 1 Gautam Gambhir, 2 Virender Sehwag, 3 Rahul Dravid, 4 Sachin Tendulkar, 5 VVS Laxman, 6 Yuvraj Singh, 7 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Zaheer Khan, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Amit Mishra.

Sri Lanka: 1 Tharanga Paranavitana, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (capt & wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene, 5 Thilan Samaraweera, 6 Angelo Mathews, 7 Prasanna Jayawardene (wk), 8 Nuwan Kulasekara/Dilhara Fernando, 9 Chanaka Welegedara, 10 Muttiah Muralitharan, 11 Ajantha Mendis/Rangana Herath.

Pitch and conditions

The last time India played a Test in Kanpur, they prepared a spin track to trounce South Africa by eight wickets. They even opened the bowling with Harbhajan in the second innings. This time around the curator says it will be a sporting track with the spinners coming into play from the third day. A lot of attention has been showered on the pitch in the lead-up to this Test.

South Africa vs England 2nd Odi Live Streaming

Watch South Africa vs England 2nd Odi Live Streaming online for free. England's injury situation remains unchanged with Stuart Broad (shoulder) and Graeme Swann (side) already ruled out of the match, but the delayed start to the series will have helped Paul Collingwood and James Anderson recover from their niggles. With the forecast more promising for Sunday's game, Collingwood should finally have the chance to become England's most capped ODI player with his 171st appearance, overtaking Alec Stewart's record.

With one match already gone from the schedule, there is less room for error and therefore even more important to hit the ground running. At least on Saturday the teams were able to train outdoors, and whichever side clicks into gear the quickest after a frustrating few days will be in prime position to take control of the series.

South Africa (possible) 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Hashim Amla, 3 AB de Villiers, 4 JP Duminy, 5 Alviro Petersen, 6 Mark Boucher (wk), 7 Albie Morkel, 8 Ryan McLaren, 9 Charl Langeveldt, 10 Lonwabo Tsotsobe, 11 Dale Steyn

England (possible) 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Jonathan Trott, 3 Kevin Pietersen, 4 Paul Collingwood, 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Matt Prior (wk), 7 Luke Wright, 8 Tim Bresnan, 9 James Tredwell, 10 Graham Onions, 11 James Anderson

South Africa vs England 1st Odi Live Streaming

Watch South Africa vs England 1st Odi live streaming for free on pc. South Africa duly won a farcically one-sided contest by 84 runs (and by 17 sixes to six), in a declaration of intent that has since been backed up by Mickey Arthur's bellicose comments in the press. "No more Mr Nice Guys" is the message being sent out, and England's South African middle-order of Jonathan Trott and Kevin Pietersen can expect to bear the brunt of the new nasty edge.

Pietersen, however, has seen it all before - nothing will ever compare to the reception he received on his first tour to South Africa in 2004-05, and on that occasion he responded with three centuries in five innings. Trott, meanwhile, has been one of England's most consistent performers on the tour so far, most recently in the warm-up at Potchefstroom, where he made 78 from 89 balls to overcome South Africa A.

England's biggest concerns are all internal ones, with two players - Graeme Swann and Stuart Broad - already ruled out of the first two ODIs, and a host of key players, including Paul Collingwood and James Anderson, fighting for full fitness. Andrew Strauss, who missed the Twenty20s, returns to resume his rivalry with Smith, the man whom he refused a runner during an heroic but futile century in the Champions Trophy back in September.

That match, incidentally, is a reminder of England's improbable ODI record in recent fixtures against South Africa. With five wins and a washout in their last six encounters, they have a few bragging rights to fall back on, that Centurion debacle notwithstanding.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test Live Streaming

Watch India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test live Streaming score updates and stats about the 1st test match. Sri Lanka have made six tours to India over the last 27 years, played 14 Tests, and are yet to win one. It's a record their captain Kumar Sangakkara is keen to rectify. For Sri Lanka, the batting and bowling are areas of grave concern. Totally at ease on sluggish pitches at home, the batsman have struggled in more testing conditions away. Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene will be expected to shoulder an immense burden; Thilan Samaraweera and Tillakaratne Dilshan have new challenges of translating their home form overseas; Tharanga Paranavitana has a chance to cement the opening berth and allrounder Angelo Mathews, on whom Sangakkara is banking to give the team flexibility and balance, needs to step up if Sri Lanka are to ending their sorry run in India.

For India, this series marks a return to the five-day game after seven months of limited-overs cricket. After a chastening defeat to a depleted but supremely confident Australia, keeping with a generally disappointing limited-overs record since the tour of New Zealand, India go into the series without much fanfare, in a way indicative of the history the teams share. India are terribly short of Test-match practice, having played only three this year, and all before the first week of April. Sri Lanka have played eight this year, the most recent in September.

India : (probable) 1 Gautam Gambhir, 2 Virender Sehwag, 3 Rahul Dravid, 4 Sachin Tendulkar, 5 VVS Laxman, 6 Yuvraj Singh, 7 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Zaheer Khan, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Amit Mishra.

Sri Lanka: (probable) 1 Tharanga Paranavitana, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (capt & wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene, 5 Thilan Samaraweera, 6 Angelo Mathews, 7 Prasanna Jayawardene/Kaushal Silva (wk), 8 Nuwan Kulasekara, 9 Thilan Thushara, 10 Muttiah Muralitharan, 11 Rangana Herath/Ajantha Mendis.

South Africa vs England 2nd T20 Live Streaming

Watch South Africa vs England 2nd t20 Live streaming from centurion. South Africa would still have fancied their chances of chasing down more than 10-an-over to win, while England's bowlers were clawing back their figures are severe punishment from Loots Bosman. Eoin Morgan gave another display of his huge talent and Paul Collingwood showed there is plenty of life in the old(ish) dog yet. The tourists' new-found freedom in limited-overs cricket is certainly the way forward. There will be days when it fails spectacularly, but as they learn how to adapt their aggression to conditions it will serve them well.

So South Africa are left needing to win the second Twenty20 to square the series and finish the first phase of this long head-to-head on even terms. They will want to sharpen their bowling skills after they tended to feed Morgan's leg-side strength, but Centurion should offer more high-scoring conditions. The main concern for England is the number of niggles the players are already picking up with James Anderson and Graeme Swann missing training along with Collingwood.

South Africa (possible) 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Loots Bosman, 3 Jacques Kallis, 4 JP Duminy, 5 Albie Morkel, 6 Heino Kuhn (wk), 7 Ryan McLaren, 8 Roelof van der Merwe, 9 Johan Botha, 10 Dale Steyn, 11 Yusuf Abdulla

England (possible) 1 Joe Denly, 2 Alastair Cook, 3 Jonathan Trott, 4 Paul Collingwood (capt), 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Matt Prior (wk), 7 Luke Wright, 8 Tim Bresnan, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 Sajid Mahmood, 11 James Anderson

McCullum's decision to field was prompted to a degree by Australia's capitulation for 108 at the same venue in May, but it proved a costly one as Pakistan raced to 160 thanks largely to the opener Imran Nazir's 38-ball 58. "We looked at the stats and looked at the pitch and thought it might offer some assistance to the bowlers," McCullum said. "I thought it did that - we just didn't execute as well as what we should've with our fourth and fifth bowler. I think 140 was probably a par score."

South Africa vs England 1st T20 Live Streaming

Watch South Africa vs England 1st T20 Live Streaming online for free. The winners will say Twenty20 allows them to build momentum, while the losers will quickly brush off the significance of the matches ahead of the one-day series next week. However, there is still a sense, outside of the World Twenty20, that internationally this format is still the third priority

South Africa, on the other hand, were hitting their stride against Zimbabwe with a crushing 212-run victory in the second ODI at Centurion. The home side will use the Twenty20s as a chance to give all the players in the squad a run, with the exception of the injured Wayne Parnell, but there is also the need to prepare for next year's ICC World Twenty20. For both teams the next two matches could be the only Twenty20 games they play before that global event in West Indies

South Africa: 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Loots Bosman, 3 AB de Villiers, 4 JP Duminy, 5 Albie Morkel, 6 Mark Boucher (wk), 7 Ryan McLaren, 8 Roelof van der Merwe, 9 Johan Botha, 10 Dale Steyn, 11 Charl Langeveldt.

Pakistan vs New Zealand 1st T20 Live Streaming

Watch Pakistan vs New Zealand 1st T20 Live Streaming & Highlights. Pakistan conceded the ODI series in typically erratic fashion, making a meal of a chase of 212 before a phenomenal fightback staged by Mohammad Aamer and Saeed Ajmal ensured the game was settled in the final over. They will be disappointed by a fifth consecutive ODI series defeat, especially one they were well poised to win, but the Twenty20 games in Dubai present an opportunity to redress that.

Pakistan have a far superior record in Twenty20s this year - they won the World Twenty20 and overall have seven wins in nine games. New Zealand are no slouches themselves - they beat Sri Lanka 2-0 in what was their only highlight of a disappointing tour in September- but their success in Abu Dhabi couldn't hide their struggle against spin. Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi, with their wily variations, nibbled away at New Zealand while proving economical. With the pair, and possibly Shoaib Malik, likely to gobble a major share of the 20 overs, the New Zealand batsmen, who gave up 12 wickets at 22.42, face a serious challenge.

Pakistan (possible): 1 Kamran Akmal (wk), 2 Imran Nazir, 3 Shoaib Malik, 4 Shahid Afridi (capt), 5 Umar Akmal, 6 Fawad Alam, 7 Abdul Razzaq, 8 Mohammad Aamer, 9 Umar Gul, 10 Iftikhar Anjum/Sohail Tanvir, 11 Saeed Ajmal.

New Zealand (possible): 1 Brendon McCullum (wk), 2 Aaron Redmond, 3 Martin Guptill, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Scott Styris, 6 Daniel Vettori (capt), 7 Neil Broom/BJ Watling, 8 Nathan McCullum, 9 Ian Butler, 10 Shane Bond, 11 Tim Southee.

India vs Australia 7th Odi Live Streaming

Watch India vs Australia 7th Odi live streaming score updates from mumbai. A generation ago, Brett Schultz's left-arm pace caused India immense discomfiture on a tour of South Africa. Bollinger, who's as quick and more accurate, has had a similar impact since his introduction into this series, taking nine wickets at 19.33. The caught-and-bowled dismissal of Tendulkar was the big moment in the six-wicket romp in Guwahati, and there should certainly be enough bounce at the Navi Mumbai venue to keep him interested.

India have to make a choice. Do they opt to give the fringe players a chance, or do they focus on the victory that would claw back some pride? Had the series been won rather than lost, Sudeep Tyagi and Amit Mishra would certainly have been given outings. Mishra could yet play in place of Ravindra Jadeja, but Virat Kohli is unlikely to get a game, given how the frontline batsmen have struggled at times. Ishant Sharma could make a return with the Test series against Sri Lanka now just four days away.

Three successive losses have cost them the series against a patchwork-quilt Australian side. Despite an appalling injury list, Australia have managed to hold their nerve at key moments. India have lapsed back into 1990s mode, with stellar individual performances like Sachin Tendulkar's 175 in Hyderabad expected to paper over collective weakness. That hasn't happened, and the pre-series hype of going for the No.1 ranking now sounds pathetic.

Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd Odi Live Streaming

Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd Odi Live Streaming Online for free. New Zealand were magnificent. Like Australia here earlier in the year, their batsmen took some time, but eventually adjusted to the conditions; in Brendon McCullum's case, he adjusted to a lot more than just conditions and all of New Zealand will hope that it might be the start of something special. He got good support from his colleagues, none more than Martin Guptill. The lower order, as long as Daniel Vettori is leading it, does not crumble readily.

The bowling is actually in better shape than many could have expected. Scott Styris' magic hand - if ever wickets were conjured from nothing, it was in that spell in the second ODI - was a bonus but Shane Bond, Kyle Mills, Tim Southee and Vettori himself have threatened. The fielding - outstanding in the win - is a bowling option in itself.

As ever in Pakistan, one loss has sent people into a tizzy. Ex-players, dormant in victory, become hyenas in defeat. Agendas are pushed, fingers pointed, conspiracies peddled. On paper, in the cold light of day, the problem is simple: the middle order clicked one game, their top order the other and what they wouldn't give to make them work together at the same time.

India vs Australia 6th Odi Live Streaming

Watch India vs Australia 6th Odi Live Streaming Online for free. The match is going to be day match and the decider of this 7 odi series. Australia is leading with 3-2 with the injuries in hand. Tendulkar is in form will make India proud in this 6th Odi against Australia.

Ricky Ponting was especially pleased with McKay's efforts towards the end of the match, when India appeared to be well on top. McKay finished with a better economy rate than the two leaders of the pace attack, Ben Hilfenhaus and Doug Bollinger, and was a key in getting Australia back into the match.

"He was very good, he was calm under pressure," Ponting said. "We had to experiment late in the innings, with lots of different slower balls and things to try and take some wickets. Full credit to Clint, he executed things really well, a really good debut on that sort of wickets, I think he ended up with 3 for 50-odd off his ten, and that's as good as anyone."

It has been a whirlwind week for McKay, who was called in to the squad when Brett Lee flew home and had never before met some of his Australia team-mates. His recent performance in the Champions League Twenty20 gave McKay a good idea of the conditions in India, and he was determined to enjoy himself regardless of how his first ODI unfolded.

New Zealand vs Pakistan 2nd Odi Live Streaming

Watch Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd odi live streaming. The ICC World Twenty20 apart, Pakistan have not been good at winning series or tournaments in recent years. They haven't won a Test series in three years and an ODI series for a year. Their win at the Sheikh Zayed stadium on Tuesday has, however, given them an ideal opportunity to change that statistic on Friday.

They are in good shape to do it as well; most of their bowlers looked sharp and took wickets, the fielding wasn't a mess either, the lower middle order was in the runs and Shahid Afridi is in irrepressible mood. The only real issue was Salman Butt's less than convincing return, though in fairness, Pakistan's lack of opening strength has been an issue for so long, it has become a non-issue. Younis Khan's duck will be a graver concern, as it represents a longer pattern of ODI indifference this year. If they win the series another low score might not hurt so much, but it will be gnawing away at him.

New Zealand (probable): Aaron Redmond, Brendon McCullum (wk), Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor, Scott Styris, Daniel Vettori (capt), Jacob Oram/James Franklin, Neil McCullum, Shane Bond, Kyle Mills, Tim Southee

Pakistan (probable): Salman Butt, Khalid Latif, Younis Khan (capt), Mohammad Yousuf, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal (wk), Abdul Razzaq, Umar Gul, Mohammad Aamer, Saeed Ajmal

India vs Australia 5th Odi Live Streaming

Watch India vs Australia 5th Odi Live Streaming - Australia have no business being 2-2 in this series. Seven first-choice men out, followed by two of their replacements (Moises Henriques being the latest). Foreign conditions. Back-to-back matches, spread across the length and breadth of India, suggesting more a sightseeing tour than one of the cricketing variety. Bowlers struggling at the death. Big hitters absent. Horror of horrors, Andrew Symonds is being discussed again by the fans. Conventional wisdom suggests that cannot be a good sign for the Australian team. Look at the scoreline, though - Two wins each. Who told Australia they could compete once their players started going down one by one after the first ODI?

Two-all doesn't mean this becomes a fresh three-match series, as MS Dhoni would suggest. Australia have simply lost too many players, which has made India the favourites though the Mohali loss puts the pressure back on the hosts. They will know losing the series in home conditions against an under-strength Australia will be an embarrassment; a 4-3 result won't be much better received. All of which gives Australia added incentive to win on Thursday and take a step closer to the grand heist.

India(probable): 1 Virender Sehwag, 2 Sachin Tendulkar, 3 Gautam Gambhir, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 MS Dhoni (capt./wk), 6 Suresh Raina, 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Praveen Kumar, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Ashish Nehra.

Australia (probable): 1 Shane Watson, 2 Shaun Marsh, 3 Ricky Ponting (capt.), 4 Michael Hussey, 5 Cameron White, 6 Adam Voges, 7 Graham Manou (wk), 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Nathan Hauritz, 10 Ben Hilfenhaus, 11 Doug Bollinger.

India vs Australia 4th Odi Live Streaming

Watch India vs Australia 4th Odi Live Streaming - Online free streaming. India leads the series 2-1 with the quality batting performance from the captain Dhoni. Though Australia captain played a wonderful innings in both the mathes rest of the players could put the pressure on the bowlers. There was praise for Yuvraj-Dhoni partnership, and awareness that the 148-run stand was what separated the teams. "We tried everything to separate Yuvraj and Dhoni, but it was an excellent partnership," Ponting said. "They kept finding the boundaries whenever they needed to, unlike us in the middle of our innings. We found it hard to get boundaries. That was probably a bit of a difference in the game."

Boundaries wouldn't come for another four overs, but even without the big hits Hussey played an innings completely in sync with his character. He dabbed, he nudged, he swept, he reverse-swept (once), and all along he maintained a strike-rate in the 90s. He crossed the rope only three times, the first one was a misfield, and the last two came in the last three overs. Yet he scored 81 off 82. Hostile spells from Peter Siddle and Mitchell Johnson gave Australia a glimpse, at 53 for 3 in their defence, but MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh took the game away.

It was a big improvement from Nagpur where they were clobbered, and Ponting was graceful in defeat. "I don't think we can blame ourselves too much, to tell you the truth," Ponting said. "India played very well, there is no doubt about that. They certainly batted a lot better than us, in probably slightly more difficult conditions. The wicket was probably slightly worse, but I think our spinners in particular got a bit negated by how wet the ball was."

India (probable): 1 Sachin Tendulkar, 2 Virender Sehwag, 3 Gautam Gambhir, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 6 Suresh Raina, 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Praveen Kumar, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Ashish Nehra.

India vs Australia 3rd Odi Live Streaming

Watch India vs Australia 3rd Odi Live Streaming - Ind vs Aus 2009 Series. Now that the first two games in India are out of the way with one win each, he can pretend his team are about to embark on a five-match series. That of course ignores the question of momentum, which is firmly in India's favour after their 99-run victory in Nagpur. Not a lot went right for Australia on Wednesday and, with injuries still plaguing their squad, they haven't been able to enjoy a settled build-up to the third game in Delhi. Australia's main problem surrounds their attack and its inability to contain India's powerful batting line-up. An injured Brett Lee is flying home and an unfit James Hopes is expected to miss this clash, making India favorites to go 2-1 up.

MS Dhoni's remarkable century in the second match, combined with strong efforts from Suresh Raina and Gautam Gambhir, have given Australia plenty of headaches leading into the Delhi encounter. The one key difference between Nagpur and Delhi should be the Feroz Shah Kotla pitch, which is not expected to produce a particularly high-scoring match.

India (probable): 1 Sachin Tendulkar, 2 Virender Sehwag, 3 Gautam Gambhir, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 6 Suresh Raina, 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Praveen Kumar, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Ashish Nehra.

India vs Australia 2nd ODI Live Streaming

Watch India vs Australia 2nd ODI Live Streaming and Highlights. This time their bad news has come in advance - Lee and Hopes are out with elbow and hamstring problems, and there are doubts over Mitchell Johnson, who hurt his ankle, as well, although coach Tim Nielsen was hopeful about his participation - yet they will be challenged to repeat the win they recorded at Vadodara.

India, on the other hand, are likely to be boosted by the return of Yuvraj Singh, who had broken his finger during the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa. Among the several problems India faced in Vadodara - a scattergun bowling attack, a mis-firing top order, and a less-than-electric fielding unit - was inexperience in the middle and lower order. Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja are promising emerging talents but fielding both players in the same XI doesn't inspire much confidence. Yuvraj's inclusion will solve that problem.

India: (probable) 1 Sachin Tendulkar, 2 Virender Sehwag, 3 Gautam Gambhir, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 Suresh Raina, 6 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Ishant Sharma, 10 Praveen Kumar/Munaf Patel, 11 Ashish Nehra.

Australia: (probable) 1 Shane Watson, 2 Tim Paine (wk), 3 Ricky Ponting (capt), 4 Shaun Marsh, 5 Michael Hussey, 6 Adam Voges, 7 Cameron White, 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Nathan Hauritz 10 Doug Bollinger/Ben Hilfenhaus, 11 Peter Siddle.

Date: 25 Oct 2009

Australia too have a few questions to answer: Will they give Shaun Marsh, who has had a successful stint in the IPL, an opportunity to open in the first ODI, or will they stick with Tim Paine who did a good job with Shane Watson against England? They might go with Paine at the top and push Marsh down. The middle order will miss the injured injured Michael Clarke, but Clarke has struggled in limited-overs cricket recently: his strike-rate in the 50-over format since the start of 2008 stands at a modest 66.81. However, his skills against spin bowling will be missed.

India will start the first ODI with a bit more hope than they did in the Champions Trophy: Virender Sehwag is back, and immediately the batting line-up looks much more potent. However, Yuvraj Singh is likely to sit out the first ODI due to a finger injury. With Rahul Dravid out, MS Dhoni can easily settle into the Dravid avatar that he has been doing so successfully in recent times: he doesn't hit out as violently as in his early days, and promotes himself when there is a good start so he can anchor the innings and allow the big hitters to express themselves. Expect the Australians to test out Suresh Raina with bouncers; among all the Indian batsmen in the fray, this series will be the biggest for Raina.

What Daredevils don't have, though, is a trophy in the cabinet.

If club and franchisee cricket is the latest alternative to the international calendar, then Delhi Daredevils are the IPL's byword for South Africa. In three competitive stages - IPL I and II and now the Champions League - Daredevils have choked at the critical moment. Despite boasting of a galaxy of stars like Daniel Vettori, AB de Villiers, Owais Shah, Paul Collingwood, Farveez Maharoof and Andrew McDonald, despite earning plaudits for plucking the best raw talent in Dirk Nannes and David Warner and getting the best trade of Ashish Nehra in the transfer window, Daredevils have flattered to deceive.

The Daredevils are feeling the pinch of accommodating quality bowling all-rounders. During the past seasons, Daredevils loaded their squad with batting and bowling stars, which meant there was little space for foreign all-rounders in the XI. In the Champions League too, most of them are either playing against them or not playing at all.

Chances are the Daredevils will once again stick with Dilshan, de Villiers, Nannes and Vettori in IPL III, but it's the lack of steady all-round performers like McDonald, Maharoof and Collingwood breaking into the XI that has been a problem in alignment.

New South Wales vs Somerset Live Streaming

Watch New South Wales vs Somerset Live Streaming: All four League A teams are in the running for semi-final berths, although in varying degrees. T&T are the most comfortably placed, with four points and a healthy net run-rate, but should they lose to Eagles after NSW beat Somerset, then three teams will be tied on four points and it will come down to which side has the better net run-rate. That scenario, however, excludes Somerset who can go through only if they beat NSW and the Eagles lose, leaving T&T on six points and the rest level on two each, before being separated by net run-rate. If NSW win on Sunday, their semi-final berth wont be set in stone but they'll have an extremely strong chance.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils Live Streaming

Watch Live Streaming Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils Online Free. Delhi Daredevils are at a slight advantage even before their first game of the league stage as their opponents, Royal Challengers Bangalore, must win to stay in the tournament. Bangalore's capitulation to Victoria on Thursday means they must beat Delhi and hope Victoria and Delhi both beat Cape Cobras. Delhi aren't all that better off, though; they have a negative run-rate, marginally better than Bangalore's, and will need to win both their games to be well-placed for the semis.

All of which means that, whatever the result of this game, it is possible no IPL team advances to the semi-finals of the Champions League Twenty20. That should not detract from the atmosphere at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, where a large crowd is expected on Diwali night to watch the last tournament fixture in this city - and perhaps the first and last time in this tournament that two IPL teams play each other. Nothing may be going right for them but Bangalore can at least expect a partisan crowd supporting their efforts.

Delhi play their first away game of the tournament and their explosive top order will relish getting away from the sluggish Feroz Shah Kotla pitch and on to a venue where the home side scored 188 for 2 earlier this week. That said, the Chinnaswamy isn't entirely seamer-friendly so the two sides will hope their openers give them a frenetic start. Mark Boucher, the Bangalore wicket keeper, predicted that as the tournament went on the track would get slower and scores would be disappointingly smaller.

Cape Cobras vs Victorian Bushrangers Live Streaming

Watch Cape Cobras vs Victoria Live Streaming Online Free. Victoria sit on top of League B with four points after their convincing win against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday, their opening league-stage game. They will be up against South Africa's Cape Cobras, who racked up the tournament's highest score - 193 - in their previous encounter.

If the Cobras - now on two points - win tomorrow, they will knock Bangalore out of the tournament. If they lose, Victoria go straight through to the semi-finals and there is the possibility of a three-way tie for the second semi-final slot. The second match of the double-header, between Delhi Daredevils and Bangalore, and the final league game (Cobras v Delhi) will then assume added significance.

The ever impressive JP Duminy helped Cobras prevail over Bangalore in a tense chase in their opening group game and captain Andrew Puttick led by example against Otago, recording the tournament's first century. That was an all-round performance but Cobras will be up against much tougher opposition tomorrow and will be returning after a week's break, lengthy by this tournament's standards.

Cape Cobras squad

New South Wales vs Trinidad & Tobago Live Streaming

New South Wales look the strongest team of the tournament, on paper, and in their performances so far, they have lived up to that billing. They didn't have the best of conditions at the Feroz Shah Kotla, but their top order showed good application in both games. More importantly, they judged the pitch well and gauged what a good target was.

Deccan Chargers vs Trinidad Tobago Live Streaming

Watch Deccan Chargers vs Trinidad Live Streaming Online for Free. Deccan Chargers would not want a difference of one wicket to end their run in the Champions League. That's the margin they lost to Somerset by during a thrilling game in Hyderabad, and only victory against Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday - which, if achieved, will be their first in nine attempts in their home city - can ensure their progress to the next round. Trinidad are more comfortably placed with a healthy net run-rate of 2.20, well above the others in the Group A. Even if they lose to Deccan, they still stand a chance of making the next round; they just have to ensure they don't lose by a margin big enough to bring their current net run-rate below Somerset's -1.00.

Somerset, in a helpless situation, can only hope T&T knock Deccan out, or knock themselves out by losing heavily.

Deccan have a side packed with batsmen, but failed to build on an explosive start provided by VVS Laxman and Adam Gilchrist in their tournament opener. The main problem, though, lay with their bowling. Having reduced Somerset to 99 for 7 in a chase of 154, they failed to shut them out. But with their experience, they hold a slight edge against T&T, who caused a huge surprise against Somerset with their clinical bowling display led by Dwayne Bravo. While Deccan were left demoralised by a last-ball defeat, the West Indian champions are fresh with confidence after a comprehensive win, and the outcome could well hinge on whether Deccan can use their experience to bounce back.

Diamond Eagles vs Sussex Sharks Live Streaming

The last game of Group B will have the Sussex Sharks take on the Diamond Eagles at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Both the sides have played one game each against the New South Wales Blues and lost both the games comfortably. Hence, it has all boiled down to this game to decide on which team will go through to the next round of the competition along with the New South Wales Blues, who have not only got into the second round, but also carried their two points forward.

The Sussex Sharks were led by Michael Yardy to begin with, but he pulled out with an illness just before the game. This meant that Ed Joyce had to lead the side in the game against the New South Wales, and the side went down rather badly. In this game, Yardy should be back and fit to lead the side, and this will mean that one of the top order batsmen will have to make way. In fact, if reports are anything to go, Luke Wright is back in India after the problems with the illnesses as well and should be an easy shoo into the game. So the Sussex side will need to make two changes to their line-up.

Victoria vs Wayamba Live Streaming

Wayamba went into their opening game against Delhi with nine international players but still found themselves short. The batting was largely responsible for that 50-run defeat; they needed a sound start but the top order found life difficult against the Australian duo of Dirk Nannes and Glenn McGrath. Their bowlers did well to dismiss Tillakaratne Dilshan and Gautam Gambhir before they could get away but lost the plot thereafter. Their spinners failed to contain Delhi, who powered to 170 and shut them out of the match

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Otago Live Streaming

Watch Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Otago Live Streaming Online for Free - Champions League Twenty20 between RCA vs Otago. The winner of Monday's day-night clash at the Chinnaswamy Stadium will join Cape Cobras in the second round from Group C. It's as simple as that. Both the Bangalore and Otago bowling attacks were bruised by the South African domestic champions in their opening matches leaving them with a lot to do even if they make it past the first round of elimination.

Bangalore have a net run-rate of -0.356, Otago's is -2.70, and no points will be carried forward no matter who wins tomorrow. Bangalore have the home advantage - they will be familiar with conditions and a strong crowd will back them - but they had that against the Cobras and couldn't finish on top. Kumble was critical of his team's fielding in the opening game and another loose performance against Otago could give the underdogs the room they need to cause an upset. Otago started the competition with an outside chance but an inspirational performance, emulating Daniel Vettori's team, could eliminate the first IPL team from the Champions League.

Praveen Kumar was a handful with the new ball, troubling the Cobras top order with lateral movement under lights. He picked up two early wickets and finished the game with 3 for 32. Similar success against Otago could prove decisive for they do not possess the batting depth that the Cobras did.

Delhi Daredevils vs Wayamba Live Streaming

Watch Delhi Daredevils vs Wayamba Live Streaming Online for FREE. This match will be played at Delhi on Oct 11 2009.Delhi Daredevils' first game didn't go to plan and they are left needing to hit their stride against Sri Lanka's champions Wayamba to stay in the tournament.

Their batting is studded with fearsome Twenty20 hitters, but it was blunted by the accurate Victoria seamers and the slow-and-low pitch. Already without AB de Villiers, Paul Collingwood and Daniel Vettori, they could also lose Mithun Manhas after he pulled a hamstring during the first game. On Sunday, they are up against opponents who have 11 players with international experience in their squad.

Mahela Jayawardene is the biggest name in the Wayamba squad but their strength is likely to be their bowling. Isuru Udana was the best bowler in Sri Lanka's domestic tournament, Ishara Amerasinghe adds firepower to the pace department, and Ajantha Mendis and a much-improved Rangana Herath provide spin options. They also have Farveez Maharoof, who will use this tournament to try re-capture the allrounder's spot in the Sri Lankan team from Angelo Mathews.

Champions League Twenty20

Deccan Chargers vs Somerset: This is the first game of Group A, and features the two stronger teams in the group, the other being Trinidad & Tobago. With their knowledge of the local conditions and a capacity crowd expected to be egging them on, Deccan start as favourites (though those factors didn't help Bangalore in the face of JP Duminy's onslaught). They have plenty of proven match-winners like Adam Gilchrist and Andrew Symonds, but two of their big Indian stars - Rohit Sharma and RP Singh - have struggled over the past few months. Somerset will need big performances from their pair of senior pros, Marcus Trescothick and Justin Langer, the only players in the squad with significant experience on the subcontinent.

RCB vs Cape Cobras Live, CL T20

The inaugural Champions League Twenty20 begins at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday. Cricket's first global inter-club tournament, it is the latest twist in a format that is only seven years but has established itself as the game's main money-spinner.

The first match is between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Cape Cobras starts around 8.00 pm Ist.

Venue: Bangalore

A mix of state, county, regional and franchise teams will battle it out for a US$ 6 million cash prize, with $2.5 million going to the winners. The unpredictability of the format is enhanced by the fact that there is little history between the teams, though many of the players would be familiar to each other as team-mates at some level.

Royal Challenger Bangalore v Cape Cobras, Group C
Start time 20.00 (14.30 GMT)

The 23 matches in the 16-day tournament are spread between Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad. The 12 teams have been divided into four groups of three each with IPL runners-up Bangalore grouped with Cape Cobras and Otago, while IPL champions Deccan Chargers are in a pool with Stanford 20/20 winners Trinidad and Tobago and the Somerset, runners-up of England's Twenty20 Cup.

Australia vs New Zealand Champions Trophy 2009

Daniel Vettori is definitely in the running for the Player-of-the-Series award. Against Sri Lanka he rescued a floundering middle order, and against Pakistan he promoted himself to No. 6 and guided a nervous side through to the final. And that's besides his routine job, during which he has taken seven wickets at an average of 17.71 and an economy-rate of 3.97. He is now four wickets short of the leading wicket-taker of the tournament, Wayne Parnell.

Ricky Ponting has a habit of turning it on on the big day. But he is a bruised captain, too, the only Australian leader since time immemorial to have lost the Ashes twice. He has also led them to successive unsuccessful campaigns at ICC events. When was the last time they failed to win three majors in a row

Team news
Both teams gave satisfactory performances in the semi-finals, and both are more or less settled - even if not entirely by design.

Australia: Shane Watson, Tim Paine (wk), Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Hussey, Cameron White, Callum Ferguson, James Hopes, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Nathan Hauritz, Peter Siddle.

A discussion on allrounder Brendon Diamanti has its merits - Neil Broom hasn't had much to do in the tournament - but New Zealand are not likely to tinker with a winning combination. And the way Elliott came through the semi-final, a big worry for them has been taken care of.

New Zealand (probable): 1 Brendon McCullum (wk), 2 Aaron Redmond, 3 Martin Guptill, 4Ross Taylor, 5 Neil Broom, 6 Grant Elliot, 7 James Franklin, 8 Daniel Vettori capt), 9 Kyle Mills, 10 Shane Bond, 11 Ian Butler.

Australia vs England Champions Trophy Semi Final Live Score

England may secretly be relieved that Australia scrambled the final bye, which meant they wouldn't have to face Pakistan's mixture of spin and reverse swing on a slow, wearing Centurion pitch. Not that Australia's attack will be easy, but at least there won't be any of the unknown. In fact, it's just the opposite. The teams probably know each other a little too well at the moment.

For a while it looked as though Australia would blow their chance of progressing as the batting came to a screeching halt in their chase against Pakistan. However, Brett Lee and Nathan Hauritz did just enough - Australia were through when they levelled scores off the penultimate ball - and another meeting with the old enemy was an added bonus.

Australia will bring with them memories of the 6-1 win in the recent one-day series, while England will say that result doesn't matter anymore. "We thrashed them the last time we played them," said Graeme Swann, England's team joker. The truth, as is often the case, lies somewhere in the middle. Australia clearly have the upper hand in recent contests, but England's resurgence since arriving in South Africa means they have a good chance of extracting revenge.

Australia vs England 1st Semi-Final Champions Trophy at Centurion

Watch Australia vs England, Champions Trophy, 1st semi-final, Centurion Live Score

England (probable): 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Joe Denly, 3 Owais Shah, 4 Paul Collingwood, 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Matt Prior (wk), 7 Luke Wright, 8 Stuart Broad, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 Ryan Sidebottom, 11 James Anderson.

Australia (probable) 1 Shane Watson, 2 Tim Paine (wk), 3 Ricky Ponting (capt), 4 Michael Hussey, 5 Callum Ferguson, 6 Cameron White, 7 James Hopes, 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Brett Lee, 10 Nathan Hauritz, 11 Peter Siddle.

England scored 323 on an excellent batting surface against South Africa, but the pitch for the previous game between Australia and Pakistan was a tough one for run-scoring. The thunderstorms have stayed away since the Australia-India game and the last thing a semi-final needs is rain.

Australia vs Pakistan 2nd odi Live Streaming

A Pakistan win, on the other hand, would throw the race for the semis wide open. Monday's wash-out in Centurion may have allowed India to avoid a mountainous run-chase against Australia, but it also placed them in the precarious position of having to rely on other results to advance to the next round. A resounding Pakistan victory over Australia will keep alive the hopes of MS Dhoni's men, but only if India can inflict a heavy defeat on the West Indians at the Wanderers the same day.

Watch Live Cricket

Weighing heavily on the Indians' minds will be Australia's recent 3-2 victory over Pakistan in an attritional one-day series played in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. On that occasion, the superior discipline of the Australians proved too much for an out-of-practice Pakistan side although, as punters the world over are aware, form guides are seldom of use when trying to assess Younis Khan's team. That logic is all the more applicable with Pakistan likely to rest a number of first-choice players ahead of the semi-finals, clearing the way for Mohammad Asif to make his return to international cricket after a 19-month absence.

India vs West Indies Champions Trophy 2009

India need Australia to lose to Pakistan, then they need to beat West Indies, and by such a margin that their net run-rate goes over Australia's. If any of these doesn't happen, they are out.

If Pakistan's match against Australia is even as much as washed out, India can kiss their campaign goodbye. The saving grace for them is that by half time during their match they'll know what exactly they need to do - if Australia lose, that is.

A difference of 2.08 in India and Australia's net run-rates looks huge on paper, but since it is based on the results of one match each it is not impossible to wipe out. It will be mighty difficult, though. Pakistan and Australia will make for a tight contest either way, so even if Australia lose India will need a huge win over West Indies. A perfect day is difficult to define, but India fans will know what it is if their team makes it to the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy.

West Indies have been no pushovers in this tournament, giving Pakistan and Australia a scare. They would love nothing better than to spoil a party on their way out. It won't be a surprise if they even wish for Australia to lose to Pakistan, so that they have a chance to actively contribute in sending a team out. September 30 will be one complex day.

England vs New Zealand Champions Trophy 2009

Watch England vs New Zealand Champions Trophy 2009 Live Streaming online. It is New Zealand's turn to do or die. A victory will take them through to the semi-finals, but a defeat will almost certainly see them heading home. England, though, can already think about the knockout stage after their slick performance against South Africa. This tournament continues to confound, and what excitement that has brought.

Daniel Vettori's team often lift themselves at global events and if they don't make the semi-finals it will be something of a surprise - they are almost always there. However, their hopes have taken a blow with Jesse Ryder ruled out of the tournament after the injury he picked up during his destructive 58-ball 74 against Sri Lanka and his departure leaves a hole in the top order. But Brendon McCullum and Martin Guptill have shown good form and it is up to them to take the strain. The captain, too, is leading from the front and his bowling spell was crucial to defeating Sri Lanka.

England: (probable) 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Joe Denly, 3 Owais Shah, 4 Paul Collingwood, 5 Eoin Morgan (wk), 6 Ravi Boapra 7 Luke Wright, 8 Stuart Broad, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 James Anderson, 11 Graham Onions.

New Zealand: (probable) 1 Brendon McCullum, 2 Aaron Redmond, 3 Martin Guptill, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Grant Elliott, 6 Neil Broom, 7 Daniel Vettori (capt), 8 James Franklin, 9 Kyle Mills, 10 Shane Bond, 11 Ian Butler.

India vs Australia Champions Trophy Live Streaming Score

Watch India vs Australia Champions Trophy 2009 Live Streaming score updates online for free.

if Australia beat India, it will be Pakistan and Australia who progress. The group will be done and dusted with two games to go. Things become more complex if India win. They will be in prime position due to their remaining game against a weakened West Indies and Australia's fixture against an unbeaten Pakistan. However, should India and Australia either both win or both lose their last group game, net run-rate will be required to determine the semi-finalists.

MS Dhoni said he felt three bowlers short at times, such was the ease with which runs were scored in the middle of Pakistan's innings, and India are certain to play five specialist bowlers on Monday. Harbhajan Singh did not bowl well against Pakistan but he is a bogey player for Australia and regularly lifts against them. The other bowling options in India's squad are Praveen Kumar and the legspinner Amit Mishra, who is a strong contender. Praveen could edge in ahead of RP Singh, who took 1 for 59 in nine overs against Pakistan

India have the advantage of having just played in Centurion, where the conditions are different to the Wanderers. The surface is much slower and provides more assistance to the spinners. Runs are available if the bowlers fail to adjust and Australia will need to sharpen their efforts after struggling to run through West Indies on a cracking and helpful Johannesburg pitch. There is also a strong chance of showers in the evening, so the teams should bear that in mind at the toss.

Australia (possible): 1 Shane Watson, 2 Tim Paine (wk), 3 Ricky Ponting (capt), 4 Michael Hussey, 5 Callum Ferguson/Michael Clarke, 6 Cameron White, 7 James Hopes, 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Brett Lee, 10 Nathan Hauritz, 11 Peter Siddle.

South Africa vs England Champions trophy Streaming

England are in the rare position where changes aren't required. They have a balanced attack, with Graeme Swann to complement the four quicks, and Paul Collingwood is a more than handy operator. Collingwood's return to form has a huge impact on England's one-day unit, but Strauss could do with better control from Stuart Broad and Luke Wright.

South Africa know their best one-day team and generally stick with it. Herschelle Gibbs has been passed fit for selection and should slot back in alongside Smith. How England combat the 20 overs of spin from Johan Botha and Roelof van der Merwe will be vital, while Dale Steyn will want to lay some early makers for battles ahead.

Sri Lanka will be confident of achieving a win after the way they beat New Zealand at home recently. The loss to England was disappointing for the way their top order collapsed, but Kumar Sangakkara took positives from the way a couple batsmen played and Ajantha Mendis bowled on an unresponsive track for spin.

India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy 2009 Live Streaming

Watch India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy 2009 Live Streaming.India and Pakistan will not be playing on an island. India-Pakistan matches are usually separate events within the main event, oblivious to the larger picture of the tournament, but this game doesn't seem to be the usual matter of life and death. For once, this match, though the first big clash of the Champions Trophy in terms of traditional rivals coming face to face, is more about the cricket.

What's helped is the tight draw in the tournament format. Pakistan, who have been more vocal in setting up the match (Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul and Younis Khan have been quoted on how badly they want to beat India), will know only net run-rate can keep them out of semi-finals if they win this match. India, blighted by injuries to Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan, have a year and a half of good work done in ODIs to defend. A loss in their opening match will leave them needing to beat Australia and possibly run-rate calculations to go their way.

Watch out for...
Pakistan bowlers v Indian batsmen: As has so often been the case, this is the deciding mini contest. Pakistan have three different kinds of fast bowlers, and two different kinds of spinners, who will need a perfect show from opposition batsmen, if they are to be outdone.

Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi Last checked they had to be physically separated from a mid-pitch altercation, in Kanpur. Since then Afridi has become a different man, so mature he seems almost possessed. Will he able to keep his calm when he comes to bowl to Gambhir? Will Gambhir survive for that long?

Sachin Tendulkar and Mohammad Aamer Tendulkar knows all about pressure, playing Pakistan, and playing Pakistan in pressure games. Will he try to bully and unsettle a 17-year-old opening the bowling against him?

Sri Lanka vs England ICC Champions Trophy 2009 Live Streaming

England prepared to face the music in a one-day competition that has humiliation stamped all over it. True, they arrive in the country boasting a winning streak of one match, after denying Australia a 7-0 whitewash in the final ODI of the English summer on Sunday, but even in that irrelevant face-saver, they still shipped six wickets chasing 177.

In the absence of Kevin Pietersen (who has scored two of England's three ODI hundreds since January 2008 - a tally that even Scotland has surpassed) and latterly Andrew Flintoff and even Luke Wright, England lack batsmen who can break the shackles, and raise the tempo. Strauss has been batting like a dream all summer, but even at his most imperious, he is still a man for whom an 80.00 strike-rate is a pacey tempo - hence his unfortunate habit during the Australia ODIs of getting out when well set, usually while attempting a reverse-sweep or similar, shots that his colleagues ought to have been producing while he continued to anchor the innings.

England (possible): 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Joe Denly, 3 Owais Shah, 4 Paul Collingwood, 5 Matt Prior (wk), 6 Eoin Morgan, 7 Stuart Broad, 8 Graeme Swann, 9 Tim Bresnan, 10 Ryan Sidebottom, 11 James Anderson.

Sri Lanka (probable) 1 Sanath Jayasuriya, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (capt/wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene, 5 Thilina Kandamby, 6 Thilan Samaraweera, 7 Angelo Mathews, 8 Nuwan Kulasekara, 9 Muttiah Muralitharan, 10 Lasith Malinga, 11 Ajantha Mendis.

Pitch and conditions

It's early in the season on the Highveld, so who knows what to expect? So far, there has been evidence of helpful bowling conditions, unsurprisingly, and there has been plenty of rain in the high-altitude air as well.

South Africa vs New Zealand ICC Champions Trophy 2009 Live Streaming

South Africa, therefore, will be giving Thursday's match in Centurion must-win status. They gambled in the opening game by picking 20-year-old Wayne Parnell ahead of Makhaya Ntini, and by choosing to field first despite naming two specialist spinners in their XI. Graeme Smith, though, said after the 55-run defeat that he wouldn't have done anything differently. South Africa came into the tournament with no international 50-over match-practice since April and were found wanting. They cannot afford to be found wanting tomorrow.

Their opponents don't possess the unorthodox and unique talents of the Sri Lankans but New Zealand make up for that with discipline, doggedness and sheer hard work. Rarely have they failed to make it past the first round of an ICC competition. Daniel Vettori's team, though, has had a poor run in ODIs this year, losing eight games and winning only five. Their last two defeats were heavy ones to India and Sri Lanka during the Compaq Cup and they've had mixed results in the two warm-up matches in South Africa as well: they lost the first one to the Warriors but bounced back to beat India, one of the tournament favourites, convincingly in the second.

New Zealand are a team without stars and rely on collective contribution from their batsmen to achieve a challenging total. Jesse Ryder, Ross Taylor, Martin Guptill and Neil Broom have all scored half-centuries in the warm-ups but Brendon McCullum has failed. Their chances of beating South Africa will hinge on a few players coming good rather than one batsman making a stellar contribution.

Watch India vs New Zealand Warm Match live Streaming - Champion Trophy 2009
Gambhir had a great 2008 and has been nominated for ICC awards in two categories - Cricketer of the Year and Test Player of the Year. "It was a fabulous year. I never thought it would go the way it did and that I would be up for so many awards, including the Arjuna Award. How things change and so quickly." From January 2008 Gambhir averaged 44.31 from 41 ODIs, scoring four centuries and nine half-centuries.

Apart from Sehwag's absence, offspinner Harbhajan Singh felt India were missing a bowling allrounder like Shaun Pollock. Harbhajan also hoped to score his maiden one-day century during the tournament. "In a function in Mumbai recently, Sunil Gavaskar wanted to know when I would hit my first hundred. Coming from him it was a huge thing.

India will play their only warm-up ahead of the Champions Trophy on Sunday against New Zealand in Potchefstroom before their first game next Saturday against Pakistan at Centurion.

South Africa vs West Indies Warm up Match

South Africa haven't won an ICC trophy since the Champions Trophy in 1998 despite being among the top one-day sides over the past decade. Their captain Graeme Smith is desperate to shed the 'chokers' tag that hangs around the team and sees next week's Champions Trophy as a chance for the world's No. 1 ODI side to answer the doubters.

"Every time we lose an important game the word 'chokers' is thrown around," Smith said. "During the last couple of years we have been on an upward curve and the team will improve and grow stronger."

South Africa have won all their ODI series over the past two years barring the campaign in England in 2008. Their run has included impressive home-and-away wins over Australia, who were deposed from the top spot in the rankings.

Smith said he was aware being rated the best side in the world added to the pressure on South Africa. "Every sportsman knows that staying at the top is a lot harder than getting there," he said. "Instead of aiming for Australia, as they have for the past decade and a half, the rest of the world will be looking to take us down."

One of the players pivotal to South Africa's dominant one-day performances is batsman AB de Villiers, who said the Champions Trophy was a great stage to showcase his team's capabilities. "It is true we have come short a few times, but there are many players eager to improve," he said. "We believe we are the best team in the world and now have the ideal opportunity to prove it."

Sri Lanka vs Pakistan Warm-Up Match

The favourites include the world's top three ODI sides - South Africa, India and defending champions Australia.

However, Sangakkara said form would not be an issue when the teams took to the field. "Everyone in our team is confident, but our recent wins are not going to count for anything," he said. "Everyone here is a professional unit and whether they have played recently or not won't matter because you are always in training and up to the challenge of playing. It is nice to have had a bit of cricket, but the only advantage of that is that we have been competing under pressure."

Sri Lanka, who finished runners-up at the World Twenty20 in June this year, are currently ranked fifth in ODIs, and with the good mix of fast bowlers and spinners in the squad, Sangakkara was optimistic about their chances in the tournament. "Fast bowling is now one of our main strengths," he said. "We now have bowlers who can bowl at more than 140 km/h and they have the accuracy and firepower. Coupled with our spinners, Ajantha Mendis and Muttiah Muralitharan, it's an exciting time for Sri Lankan cricket."

Sri Lanka will face hosts South Africa, England and New Zealand in Group B of the tournament. Their first match, also the tournament opener, will be against South Africa in Centurion on September 22.

Watch India vs Sri Lanka Live Streaming, Compaq Cup Final 2009, Live Online from Colombo. Match Start time 9:30 GMT.

Karthik may continue to open the innings in Gambhir's absence, given Dhoni's reluctance to send Kohli in early. Kohli is not a specialist opener, though he filled the role in five ODIs in Sri Lanka last summer. He was impressive in handling Murali during this year's IPL, so should present a credible case. There are a couple of other possibilities for India; after Mathews nipped out six with his canny seamers under lights, there's an outside chance that the allrounder Abhishek Nayar gets a game. That would mean India have to drop Yusuf Pathan or one of the three fast bowlers (probably RP Singh, who had a poor last game). Praveen Kumar is another option.

Sri Lanka: (probable) 1 Sanath Jayasuriya, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (capt & wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene, 5 Chamara Kapugedera/Thilan Samaraweera, 6 Thilina Kandamby, 7 Angelo Mathews, 8 Thilan Thushara, 9 Nuwan Kulasekara, 10 Muttiah Muralitharan, 11 Lasith Malinga.

India: (probable) 1 Dinesh Karthik/Virat Kohli, 2 Sachin Tendulkar, 3 Rahul Dravid, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 MS Dhoni (capt & wk), 6 Suresh Raina, 7 Yusuf Pathan/Abhishek Nayar, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 RP Singh/Praveen Kumar, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Ashish Nehra.

India seems to have started their Campaigne well at the compaq cup , while i was writing this post New Zealand were all out for a paltry 155 runs , against the Fast and spin combination of the Indian Bowlers.

India after a long will miss both their regular openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Ghambir who will not play the compaq cup due to injuries.

With two back to back matches in two days , India will look to continue the momentum and would want to win against the hosts Srilanka and enter the finals which will be played on tuesday.

Gautam Gambhir will miss the Compaq Cup after straining a groin muscle, the Indian board announced on Thursday. He has been advised 10 days' rest, and is returning from Sri Lanka ahead of the tri-series.

The selectors will announce his replacement later in the day, the BCCI statement said, and he will join the squad on Friday, the day India play their first game of the tournament.

Two of the possible contenders for Gambhir's slot, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, are at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, undergoing rehabilitation for shoulder injuries. M Vijay is another possible replacement. Gambhir is expected to report at the NCA for assessment and rehabilitation.

Gambhir's injury means India will be without two of their three established openers in Sri Lanka: Virender Sehwag is already out with shoulder injury and will miss the Champions Trophy too. Gambhir's replacement notwithstanding, Dinesh Karthik, who opened in the ODIs in the West Indies in the absence of Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar, is in the squad and likely to make the starting XI.

India will desperately want Gambhir back in time for the Champions Trophy, where they play their first match on September 26, against Pakistan in Centurion. They would ideally want at least a week's acclimatisation in South Africa, which means there will be a degree of risk involved should India take Gambhir to the Champions Trophy. It will be a tricky decision to make, because one such choice recently went wrong. Sehwag, who was injured but hoping to recover in time when the squad for World Twenty20 was announced, was taken along to England, but is yet to recover from his shoulder injury.

Watch England vs Australia 3rd Odi Live Streaming Online on 9th september 2009.James Anderson admitted yesterday that the lack of intensity in this series compared to that of the Ashes had surprised him, but it doesn't help when the team is losing. And for that trend to be reversed, it seems inconceivable that Adil Rashid won't be drafted back into the side after his excellent all-round display in the first match at The Oval (31 from 23 and an economical spell with the ball). But it's with the bat that England need to shine, and they are again without the services of Stuart Broad (neck strain) and Joe Denly whose left knee was hacked in a football warm-up prior to the series.

England (probable): 1 Ravi Bopara, 2 Andrew Strauss (capt), 3 Matt Prior (wk), 4 Owais Shah, 5 Paul Collingwood , 6 Luke Wright, 7 Eoin Morgan, 8 Adil Rashid, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 James Anderson, 11 Ryan Sidebottom.

Murali's fitness will be evaluated later this evening and tomorrow morning before the game and Sri Lanka are hopeful he will be ready. Sri Lanka may hand young left-handed batsman Gihan Rupasinghe a debut, meaning Angelo Mathews may drop down a spot. Thilan Thushara will come back into the side after missing the Twenty20s and forms a potent pace attack along with Kulasekara and Lasith Malinga

New Zealand did little wrong in the Twenty20s. Their response to Dilshan's onslaught in game one was calm and their batting and bowling more than efficient during the series clincher. Their effective handling of Ajantha Mendis - who caused nightmares at Trent Bridge this summer - was another reason behind their victory over Sri Lanka.

England vs Australia 2nd T20 Live Cricket Score, Highlights

Australia vs England 2nd Twenty20 Live Score, Cricket Highlights – September 1st 2009

After the loss of Ashes, Australia was hoping for a little revival of their honor by winning the T20 games at least, but rain god marred the first T20 match and it finally got abandoned with a nil-all result.

In the match Aussies were inching forward for a better edge as Brett Lee and Johnson opened against England with full fury. They were definitely looking on top when rain intervened the match.

Aussies were hoping to continue with their charged-up emotion in the forthcoming T20 match on September 01, 2009 at Manchester. Aussies will be captained by Michael Clarke and Paul Collingwood will lead England.

Australia will be looking forward to a decent total to defend and once again they will depend upon Cameron White for a good start. On the other side England will not rest on their laurels and is expected to charge back. However the team will definitely miss Andrew Flintoff whose knee injury will keep him out of the game for some time now.

Ireland vs England Live Streaming - Ashes Tour

Collingwood summarised the team's requirement this week, as they prepared to cleanse their minds of all lingering traces of glory, and get back to the drawing-board in preparation for two Twenty20s and seven ODIs against the all-too-recently vanquished Australians. First-up, however, there is a stop-over in Belfast that might, in days gone by, have represented a convivial way to unwind in a green and pleasant land renowned for its appreciation of a party.
But not in this unstinting professional era. The Irish are the pace-setters of cricket's second tier - streets ahead of their traditional rivals, Scotland (who take on the Aussies in Edinburgh on Friday) and itching to put one over the English, for a variety of reasons that extend beyond mere sporting instincts. For starters, there is the likely presence in England's line-up of Eoin Morgan - a member of the Irish side that captured the imagination at the 2007 World Cup, but now a targeted man after switching his allegiance to further his career. And then there's the large Australian influence in the squad, all of whom are gunning for vengeance for their mother country, not least the former captain, Trent Johnston

Kumar Sangakkara hasn't ruled out a triple-spin attack, but that would mean a very long tail for Sri Lanka. Opener Tharanga Paranavitana's place is also under scrutiny after his twin failures in Galle.

Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 5th odi Live Streaming

Bangladesh's batting line-up has been boosted by Mohammad Ashraful's return to form and Tamim Iqbal's willingness to show patience early in his innings. They also have the in-form Shakib Al Hasan and Raqibul Hasan, who have shouldered comfortably the middle-order responsibilities.

There might be some concerns about their bowling, which conceded two consecutive 300-plus totals, but those came on tracks highly favourable for batting, and with Bangladesh missing some important names in their seam attack.
